Here is a small wall hanging I made for my kitchen a few years back that I have always just adored.
1st: I stained a small piece of wood with a medium/dark stain
2nd: I glued on pictures of fruit
3rd: I painted over with a clear craft varnish (I like the added texture from brush strokes when I paint)
4th: I attached a small chain (with two small nails) to each top corner to hang it on the wall with
You can see just how tiny this wall hanging is next to the coffee cup shown in this photograph.
Really you can use pictures of just about anything depending upon where you want to hang your little wall hanging- just use your imagination and have fun!
