Another way to showcase your "old" timey photos

I started with a tall bottle, and filled it with shiny stuff

I then put the end of a white baby sock over a craft ball

and glued to the bottle to use as the head

Then added embellishments (stick on dots for eyes and mouth),

(cut out a small triangle shape from orange sponge for nose)

(fun yarn around neck and other areas) and...

glued on an old photo of my dad and his brother to the front

of the bottle and put stick on gems around it. I love the look

they give it. After I was all done I ...

Put a few coats of clear varnish over

the finished bottle boy.

Misses if you like

I added "La La La" with black stick on letters

(over the picture on the bottle)

and used a picture of my mom and her

two sisters from long ago.

I got the idea from an issue of Cloth, Paper and Scissors

a few years ago (from featured Snow People).

Theirs were sooo cute...

I added the photo idea and used really tall bottles.
